Responsibilities
- Create high-quality, realistic 3D vegetation assets for Arma 4 that run on our proprietary Enfusion engine.
- Collaborate with the game development team to ensure assets meet technical and artistic requirements.
- Create quality and well-optimized vegetation models and texture atlases, all set up together in-game, to achieve great looking vegetation assets that run nicely in the large and dense open world of Arma 4.
- Follow established pipelines and maintain nicely organized source files.
Requirements
- Experience in game industry modeling and texturing vegetation.
- Experience with game engines and real-time art pipelines (low-poly, high-poly, baking, PBR).
- Great understanding of vegetation structures, colors, forms, and biomes.
- Exceptional knowledge of Blender.
- Expertise in Substance Designer, Painter, and Photoshop for creating textures and materials.
- Ability to work collaboratively and take/give honest feedback.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with other modeling or baking software, such as ZBrush, 3D Coat, etc.
- Strong portfolio showing enthusiasm and spark for vegetation and games.
- Experience with clutters and ground surface materials.
- Using scripting languages, such as Python (Blender) or others for automation of repetitive tasks or plugin creation.
- Understanding of photogrammetry and utilizing it in an art pipeline.
