Bohemia Interactive, an independent developer of video games, is looking for an artist with a passion for creating structures in AAA quality to deliver players of our Arma franchise an immersive and authentic experience. You'll work in cooperation with the design team and other teams to produce high-quality building assets for in-game usage. You will also be contributing by setting up and improving workflows.
Responsibilities
- Model and texture diverse structure assets and their damaged counterparts
- Prepare assets for in-game usage
- Collaborate with other teams to define art needs; help make decisions according to the project’s overall vision
- Create, evaluate, and maintain an art production schedule
- Assist other art team members
Ideal candidate would have
- Experience in the game industry
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong artistic abilities
- Skills in all aspects of the art pipeline
- Exceptional knowledge of 3D/2D SW (3D max/Maya/Blender, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Zbrush/Mudbox)
- Good communication skills and a speaking knowledge of English
- Self-education in terms of 3D graphics and monitoring the latest trends
- A passion for developing games
Nice to have:
- Experience with Substance Designer
- Experience with photogrammetry
- Environment concept capabilities
- Scripting skills (Python, MEL, MAXScript)
