As the Modding Supervisor, you and your team will connect two amazing worlds of the game industry – Players and Developers. You will be focused on “Modders” – players who create modifications to our games. To guide them through the process of making new or adjusted content, your team will provide modding samples, guidelines, and other necessary support.

This role mainly consists of leading the Modding team and coordinating modding-related activities across multiple departments (e.g. developers, legal, marketing). The Modding Supervisor also collaborates with producers and reports to the Project Lead.

Responsibilities

• Leading and guiding team members who are dedicated to Modding      
• Owning game modd ability - planning of related features development with various internal departments
• Organizing and supervising the preparation of documentation, from early drafts to final publishing       
• Preparing, implementing, maintaining modding samples; supervising their publishing
• Planning and supervising the implementation and release of modding tools
• Teaching the team how to create mods
• Handling risk management for modding             
• Day-to-day task management and supporting Modding team members
• Coordinating activities (cross-functional and across departments)
• Acting as a point of contact for all modding-related activities and topics

Education/Skills

• Previous experience in a supervisor/management role
• Modding experience
• Ability to create and alter game features and assets as part of your modding experience
• Knowledge of documentation systems like Media Wiki
• Strong written and verbal communication skills that allow you to detail how something works and why
• Highly organized
• Open-minded personality and team-player mentality
• Ability to make sense of the ambiguous
• Strong, independent problem solving and time management skills
• English language at a level required for fluent communication (B2 or higher)
• Knowledgeable and passionate about our games
