Your main responsibility as our new colleague will be to run various tests and report the discovered issues. Do not expect to be filling-out standardized testcases. You will be preparing most of the testcases for yourself. You will discuss issues and pipelines with developers. And when necessary, you will participate in a spectrum of various other test tasks based on the demands of the current situation. In time you will specialize on a specific part of QA work and will take more responsibility for it.
Responsibilities
- Testing of playable content and features and evaluating results
- Regression tests, bug hunts, feature, and continuous testing
- Reporting issues, providing feedback and end-user opinion in every step of feature development
- Cooperating with your colleagues and with developers from other departments in the bug life cycle or during research
- Keeping overall awareness regarding project
Requirements
- High school education
- Relevant industry experience or experience with creation of in-game content (maps, mods)
- Ability to quickly orient yourself in a dynamic environment with new challenges emerging every day
- Great analytical thinking
- Ability to work and communicate in a team
- Ability to learn new things and procedures
- English language at a level required for documentation and team communication
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Atlassian software (JIRA, Confluence) or other bug-tracking software
- Basic knowledge of scripting or programming (C++, C#)
- Experience with test automation
- Knowledge of agile testing principles
- Experience in an international company
