- Support and facilitate the publishing and distribution of our games.
- Work closely with internal divisions and stakeholders to ensure that products are released in the best achievable quality.
- Monitor the performance of our video game products, analyze sales data, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Negotiate licensing deals with external partners such as publishers, distributors, and platform holders.
- Manage the licensing of our studio's intellectual property (IP), including negotiating option agreements, licensing deals, and ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
- Ensure that products are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement pricing strategies for products, including setting prices for digital content and in-game purchases.
- Manage relationships with key partners, including publishers, licensors, and platform holders, and ensure that we are meeting their expectations.
- Provide regular updates to the Publishing Manager on the performance of our video game products and make recommendations for improvements where necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments and use this knowledge to improve our publishing strategies.
- 3+ years of experience in the video game industry, with a minimum of 2 years‘ experience in a publishing or distribution role and 2 years in a technical role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, development team members, and external partners.
- In-depth knowledge of the video game industry and market trends, and a passion for playing and staying up to date with new games and platforms.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed business recommendations based on the analysis.
- Strong understanding of security concepts, tools, and best practices, as well as experience with implementing and maintaining security measures.
- Familiarity with various game development platforms and technologies such as Unity, Unreal Engine, and cloud-based infrastructure.
